Jim Douglas, who has been with the company since its inception, will be retiring this month. Jim will stay on as Senior Advisor bringing his extensive experience, and his considerable expertise in project management, feasibility studies, landscape management and mitigation measures and general urban and parks design.
Marietta Ruhland will be taking over the helm as Ruhland & Associates Ltd. With over 30 years experience, most of that with this company, Marietta is excellently situated to carry on Douglas Associates and Douglas & Ruhland’s tradition of delivering high quality professional services in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design.
Of course all work in progress will continue uninterrupted.
We are fortunate to be retaining Jim as advisor to the company, though sad to be loosing him as a central part of the team. Nonetheless, we are excited and confident about the future directions for the company under Marietta’s management.
